Machined Castings

A Strong Finish.

Cast Components are used across a diverse range of industries in order to create complicated parts with tight tolerances. Machining of these parts requires skill and knowledge as each and every grade of cast material used is unique and will need to be machined in its own way. ‚Äč

High Complexity Work: Bronte Precision set ourselves apart from other machinists by focusing on work which requires a higher level of work. These are components with complex geometries, large surfaces and tight tolerances. Quite often these cast parts will require multiple process steps including; milling, turning, grinding and multiple bores and tapping. We specialise in low to medium production volume where outsourcing these kinds of parts will save you significant time.

Large Cast Parts: Bronte have set up our shop floor to accommodate medium to large sized components. Our two CME Universal Bedmills can machine cast components up to 2m x 1m x 1m. Our staff have many years of experience in large machining and this means we can meet special requirements that other machinists can’t.

Cast Materials: Each and every grade of cast materials are unique and need to be treated as such. As a sub-contract manufacturer it’s our business to understand how to get the best machining performance out of any given material. We have extensive knowledge of working with the likes of: Cast Iron, Cast Aluminium, Cast Bronze and more.
